Kartra Marketplace provides a platform for affiliate marketers to discover products. It sort of makes your life easier.
In the previous post I showed you how to use a Kartra page in your WordPress blog. I am now going to provide a high level introduction to some of the functionality available to perform affiliate marketing through Kartra.

Let’s have a quick recap
I have previously discussed the triumvarate of affiliate marketing: the consumer, the product and the affiliate marketer. The market exists where a product requires consumers and an affiliate marketer brings the two together.
This should always remain in the forefront of your mind. Your role as an affiliate marketer is to bring those consumers to the product (or vice versa).
How do I find the products?
There is a lot of information available on the internet about affiliate programs. There will be a post in the future with more details on this so please subscribe to keep up to date.
Today I will be looking at the Kartra Marketplace and how you can select affiliate programs to market.
Let’s get started with the Kartra Marketplace
Without further ado, let’s jump right in.
If you haven’t already done so, you need to create a Kartra account and go through the necessary set up. This link will give you 14 days free access to Kartra and all the functionality it offers. This is an amazing deal and you really should try it out for yourself.
Once logged in you will need to select the My Affiliate Promos button from the left menu. Once the screen has loaded select Marketplace from the top menu:
This will take you directly to the Kartra Marketplace.
The Kartra marketplace is, as the name suggests, a one stop shop for products that have affiliate programs available for enrolment.
You will see that there are filtering options available. This will allow you to filter products to your particular niche.
A quick aside on niches
There is a lot of talk on niches in affiliate marketing circles. You will no doubt come across lots of offers to supply you with the ‘most profitable niche’.
While there is a lot of BS published there is also a very recurring, underlying theme. Broadly speaking there three key categories of niches:
- Health
- Wealth
- Relationships
These are very broad areas but if you find a niche in one those three categories you are taking the very first step in the right direction.
You can test this theory by reviewing a typical ‘Best niches for 2020’ article. Take a look at the recommendations and see if they fall within the three categories (see this example post for ease of reference).
That been said, there are lots of very profitable niches that exist outside of these three categories. This is not an exact science. This does segue well to the next section…
How do I choose a product?
Liam James Kay does a fantastic job of supplying a blueprint for affiliate marketing success on his Youtube channel. His key piece of advice is to pick a single product that you are happy to promote for a prolonged period of time.
I will repeat that: pick a single product that you are happy to promote for a prolonged period of time.
In order to break through the barrier on the internet you are going to have to create meaningful content. In order to do that you need to be passionate about the product. You need to invest time and effort to learn the nuances. Without this you are only ever going to generate click bait.
Back to the Kartra Marketplace
Armed with these new revelations you can now filter, sort and research your perfect product in the marketplace. Pay attention to the affiliate percentage advertised and be sure to navigate to their affiliate page for more details.
